Selling your house in Brentwood takes more than just putting photos online. At Lux Homes, we're your local estate agents in Brentwood and we believe presentation is what matters. How you photograph the property, what you write about it, the way it all comes together - these things affect who gets interested and how fast you sell.
Our Brentwood office has been helping people across this part of Essex for years. We've worked with hundreds of sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants since we started. All that time means we know the local roads, which schools people want, and what makes buyers choose one house over another. It's why we keep getting results that our clients are happy with.
Brentwood stays popular as a place to live. Families move here for the schools and the shops. Commuters like it because London's easy to reach. Most people who buy here don't leave again. Houses sell quickly when they're priced right and marketed properly. As trusted estate agents in Brentwood, we make sure you're in the best position possible.
Getting a good sale price doesn't happen by accident. At Lux Homes we focus on doing things properly. Professional photos show your home at its best. Clear descriptions help buyers picture themselves there. Strong negotiation gets you the right price. Everything we do is honest and straightforward so buyers know they can trust what they're seeing.
No two homes are the same so we don't use the same approach for everyone. We create a plan that suits your property and your situation. Our database is full of buyers actively searching in Brentwood, Shenfield, Hutton, Ingrave and the nearby areas. Before we list your home we'll visit and suggest any small changes that might help it show better. Often it's the little things that make people want to book a viewing.
Want to know what your property's worth in today's market? Ring us or pop into our office on the corner of Ongar Road at Wilsons Corner, Brentwood High Street. We'll arrange a free valuation whenever suits you.
Buying a home can feel exciting and stressful at the same time. We try to keep everything simple. The first thing we do is listen to what you're after. What do you need in a property? What matters most to you? How much are you looking to spend? Once we understand that, we can find properties that actually fit instead of wasting your time.
There's a good variety of properties for sale in Brentwood. You'll see Victorian and Edwardian houses on some streets. Modern flats near the High Street and station. Large family homes on the quieter roads. Being local estate agents in Brentwood means we've sold all types over the years. We walk you through everything from viewings to getting your keys, explaining it all in normal language instead of confusing terms.
It doesn't matter if this is your first purchase or you've moved before. We want to make it feel manageable either way. We keep in touch regularly so you know what's happening. We handle all the fiddly details so you don't have to worry about them. That lets you focus on planning the move itself.
We work with tenants and landlords right across Brentwood and the surrounding towns.
If you're looking to rent, we've got a good selection of properties to rent in Brentwood. Flats close to the station work well for commuters. Houses near popular schools suit families. Apartments walking distance from the High Street give you easy access to shops and restaurants. Whatever you need, there's usually something that fits. The whole letting process is kept simple with updates at every stage so you're never left wondering what's going on.
Landlords get a full property management service from us. We advertise your property, check tenant references, collect the rent, arrange repairs when needed, make sure you're following all the legal requirements. You can pick full management if you want us to handle everything or just use our tenant-finding service if you'd rather manage it yourself afterwards. Either way we're protecting your investment and saving you time.
We know Brentwood really well because we work here every day. It's an Essex town with a nice feel to it. There's energy but it's also friendly. You've got the Brentwood Theatre if you like shows. The High Street has independent coffee shops, decent restaurants, a shopping centre with the usual big names. Something's always happening somewhere.
Getting around is easy which is another reason people choose to live here. Brentwood station is on the Elizabeth Line so central London's about 40 minutes away. If you drive, the A12 and M25 are both close by. You get the best of both worlds really - close enough to the city but with a more relaxed suburban feel. That's why homes here stay in demand.
We're members of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents redress scheme and we're covered by Client Money Protect (CMP). What that means is your money gets handled properly and fairly throughout the whole process.
Lux Homes has built up a good reputation as local estate agents in Brentwood over the years. People come to us because we're honest, we pay attention to the details, and we know the area like the back of our hand. We're not just working here - we're part of the community too. So what happens in Brentwood matters to us.
When you work with us, you get straightforward advice, regular updates, a team that genuinely wants things to work out well for you. Selling, buying, letting - whatever you need, we'll take you through it without making it complicated.

Is Brentwood an affluent area?
Brentwood's definitely one of the more affluent parts of Essex. Income levels here are higher than the regional average. You can see it in the property prices too - Brentwood's consistently among the most expensive places in the county. Some of the roads here have the highest-value houses you'll find anywhere in Essex.
People are willing to pay more because the quality of life's good. You get a proper mix of town and countryside. It's clean, there's plenty of green space, but London's still easy to reach. That appeals to people working in the city who want somewhere nicer to live. The schools are strong too which matters if you've got children.
What types of properties are available in Brentwood?
There's quite a range really. Victorian and Edwardian properties are common on the older streets. You'll find modern flats that suit professionals or people downsizing. Family homes with big gardens are available on the quieter residential roads. First-time buyers can find something affordable. Families looking for space have options. People after luxury properties will find those too. Prices vary quite a bit depending on what you're looking at.
How well connected is Brentwood for commuters?
Transport links are excellent here. The Elizabeth Line runs direct services to London Liverpool Street and you're looking at around 40 minutes door to door. The Crossrail upgrade made things even better with faster trains and more frequent services. If you're driving, you can get to the A12 and M25 pretty quickly which opens up the whole region.
What is the average house price in Brentwood?
Average house prices in Brentwood usually sit somewhere in the mid to high £500,000s at the moment. That reflects how popular it is as a location in the southeast. Prices stay strong because demand's always there. Obviously the exact price depends on the specific property - where it is, what type, what condition. If you want to know what your particular home might fetch, we can come round and give you a proper valuation.
What amenities and leisure facilities are in Brentwood?
You've got pretty much everything you need in Brentwood. The shopping centre has the main high street shops plus some independent places and a market. The Brentwood Centre's there for sports and gym facilities if you're into that. Brentwood Theatre puts on different shows throughout the year. There's loads of choice for eating out - cafés, restaurants, pubs, bars. Most people find they can get what they need without having to travel far.

By Car:
There are several ways to reach our office depending where you're coming from. From the A12 Shenfield Junction, Ongar, Ingrave, or the M25/A12 junction, all the routes bring you to the double mini roundabout at Wilsons Corner on Brentwood High Street. You'll see our office on the corner of Ongar Road. There isn't parking right outside but William Hunter Way is parallel to the High Street and has plenty of spaces. It's only a 2-minute walk from there.

Loads of bus routes stop at Wilsons Corner. Ask for the High Street stop when you get on. From there it's about 100 metres to Wilsons Corner and you'll spot our office easily.
By Train:
If you're coming by train, get off at Brentwood Station which is on the Elizabeth Line. Come out of the station heading north. When you reach the roundabout, take Kings Road on the left. Walk up the hill till you get to Brentwood High Street. Turn right and it's roughly half a mile to Wilsons Corner. Our office is right there.
